Harry Sugar
Is a electronic side-project by Harald Schoger that’s planned to stay entirely on non-physical media. As a matter of fact times have changed
dramatically for music producers and while vinyl seems to live quite well these days, the time of CDs are tough to justify from a commercial perspective. Also the pattern of consuming music has
changed entirely over the last decades and tends currently more to a track based usage. Without any bias or rating it’s the way it is and it’s a natural development that might become
reversed one day as a wave of nostalgia as we see with vinyl.
With Harry Sugar this era will finally commence also here, while there will be still CD based releases for a while on some other projects.
There’s no real need to share any background on Harald since there’s plenty of resources to check out the work and contributions he was involved in over decades. The productions under the
Harry Sugar project will be heavily electronic and EBM/EDM oriented, maybe with some relaxed tunes as well - but time will tell. One thing is for sure: Pure electronic music fun ahead!
